Leslie Thompson

BMEd, MM: Theory / RYT-200

Leslie studied flute with Dr. Andrée Martin at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She next studied yoga with Erika Junco, continued her studies with Doraine Bennett, and she is certified with Yoga Alliance. To enhance her study of movement, Leslie studied in a human dissection lab with Gil Hedley of Integral Anatomy. She then returned to school and received her Master of Music in Music Theory from Stephen F. Austin State University.

As a musician, Leslie has performed as a soloist and in chamber groups, as well as worked as a church music secretary. As a yoga instructor, Leslie has taught heated and unheated 60-90 minute classes blending yin, slow flow, and restorative yoga. She has worked with all ages and abilities and has particularly enjoyed her experience working with clients experiencing fibromyalgia and with active military. Her goal is to help you use your body more efficiently and effectively.
